Dr Will Barton, FRSC, Chief Operating Officer "Turning a liquid fuel into hydrogen from room temperature is revolutionary. It could solve one of the major issues limiting the fuel cell industry."

Will has a long and distinguished career in the chemicals industry. He has held a series of increasingly responsible management positions in the UK and the US at ICI (later Zeneca Plc). In 1993, he became Director of Manufacturing at FMC Corporation's Process Additives Division. He moved to Flexsys, the Rubber Chemicals JV between Akzo Nobel and Solutia, in 1998, where he was Director and Vice President of Manufacturing & Technology and later Vice President of one of their two strategic business units, with global responsibilities including chemical projects in South East Asia, China and South America. Will has a First Class Honours degree and a DPhil in physics from the University of Oxford, and is a member of the Council of the Chemical Industries Association and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
