A commercially focussed Finance Director, Susan comes to Oxford Catalysts with top credentials from The BOC Group (now Linde Group) where she had held various senior-level financial management positions since 1990. Susan served as Vice President and CFO of Japan Air Gases (JAG) between 2003 and 2006 from the inception of this £700m joint venture between The BOC Group and Air Liquide. Her work in creating a high-performance finance function for the JV resulted in a 30% cost reduction, £25m per annum in synergies and a significant rise in shareholder return. Prior to taking up her position with JAG, she held finance positions with BOC in Japan, the UK and globally, as well as strategic and business development roles in the UK. Susan has an economics degree from Cambridge University and originally trained as a chartered accountant with Arthur Anderson.
