Intellectual Property
Oxford Catalysts has patent-pending intellectual property and proprietary know-how in the design and development of catalysts. Our current patents include:
- Carbide-based Catalysts
The preparation and use of carbide-based catalysts, which can match, or exceed, the benefits of traditional precious-metal catalysts for certain reactions (typically those involving hydrocarbons), whilst requiring only lower cost transition metals - The Organic Matrix Combustion Method
A novel method for the design, preparation, activation and optimisation of catalysts, which allows better distribution of the active catalytic components leading to improved performance - Liquid Fuel to Hydrogen or Steam
A unique catalytic process that enables the instantaneous production of either hydrogen gas or high temperature steam from a liquid fuel such as methanol (along with hydrogen peroxide)
