Board Directors – Non-executive
Dr Pierre Jungels, CBE Pierre is an oil industry veteran, with over 30 years experience – 12 of which were spent at main board level, including appointments as chief executive of Enterprise Oil plc, executive director of PetroFina and managing director of British Gas. He is currently also chairman of Rockhopper Exploration plc and holds non-executive directorships at Baker Hughes Inc. and Woodside Petroleum Ltd. Pierre is a certified engineer and has a PhD in geophysics and hydraulics from the California Institute of Technology. He was twice president of the Institute of Petroleum. |

Dr Andrew Jamieson, OBE Andrew worked for Royal Dutch Shell from 1974 until June 2009, most recently as Executive Vice President Gas & Projects and as a member of Shell's Gas & Power Executive Committee. Andrew's projects portfolio represented multi-billion dollar annual spend and covered all of Shell's projects in chemicals, refining, gas, LNG, coal gasification, and GTL, including Shell's landmark Pearl project in Qatar. The gas portfolio included R&D on gas processing, liquefaction and conversion, coal and biomass gasification, gas master planning and HSSE services. Previously, Andrew held a variety of roles within Shell including Managing Director of Nigeria LNG Ltd. in Lagos, CEO of North West Shelf Ventures, Woodside Energy Ltd. in Australia, and Director of Shell Oceania. Andrew is currently Chairman of Seven Energy International (Nigeria) and also holds non-executive directorships at Woodside Energy Limited (Australia) and Leif Hoegh Shipping Company Ltd. (Norway). |

Sandy Shaw Sandy has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including senior executive positions as group legal counsel and/or commercial director for Consort Resources, LASMO, Esso Petroleum, Marathon Oil and Mobil. She has extensive oil and gas M&A experience, has overseen numerous material private equity subscriptions and led a £200 million trade sale through to final negotiations. She’s worked as a consultant to several oil and gas companies, as well as two UK law firms. Since August 2008, Sandy has been an Executive Director Corporate and Commercial, and Company Secretary of Valiant Petroleum, a company of which she was a founder and initially a non-executive director. |

Dr Jan Verloop Jan has spent his career in the oil industry, primarily at Shell in the Netherlands, the UK and Singapore, where he worked for over 30 years in a variety of technical and management positions in research, refining, licensing, strategy, planning and product development. In 1998, he became Innovation Manager for Shell Global Solutions where he was responsible for creating strategic innovation. In 2003 Jan founded and is director of Causa Innovatie, an innovation consultancy company in The Hague. He is also the author of Insight in Innovation and a non-executive director of the not-for-profit company CPTM based in London. Jan received a PhD in chemical engineering from the Technical University Delft. |

Board Directors – Executive
Roy Lipski Roy has been heading fast growing technology companies for over 17 years. He has pioneered modular GTL since 2005 when he helped found Oxford Catalysts, leading it through an IPO and subsequent acquisition of Velocys Inc., a world leader in microchannel process technology, raising over $130 million from institutional investors. Roy holds an Honours degree from Cambridge University, majoring in biochemistry. He began his career working at Goldman Sachs in London. |

Susan Robertson A commercially focussed Finance Director, Susan came to Oxford Catalysts from the BOC Group (now Linde Group) where she had held various senior-level financial management and business development positions since 1990. Susan helped to set up and then, from 2003 to 2006, served as Vice President and CFO of Japan Air Gases (JAG), a joint venture between The BOC Group and Air Liquide which was one of Japan’s leading industrial gas companies. Prior to taking up her position with JAG, she held finance positions with BOC in Japan, the UK and globally, as well as strategic and business development roles in the UK. Susan has an honours degree in economics from Cambridge University and is a chartered accountant (FCA) having originally trained with Arthur Andersen in London. In addition to her role as CFO, Susan is also Company Secretary and responsible for Group HR. |

Other Key Management
Jeff McDaniel Jeff McDaniel drives Oxford Catalysts’ and Velocys' commercial activities, and has established a leadership position in the synthetic fuels market. He has formed strategic alliances with international industrial partners to fund development efforts and establish demonstration facilities. Jeff's background includes roles at Battelle Memorial Institute and General Electric. He holds seven US patents and has authored or co-authored several dozen papers and presentations on microchannel technology. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA and an M.S. in Environmental Studies from the University of Michigan. |

Dr Paul F. Schubert Paul F. Schubert is Chief Operating Officer for the Oxford Catalysts Group. Paul has 28 years of experience in the petrochemical and natural gas industry. He has held various technical and general management roles with SGS Group, Syntroleum Corporation, Catalytica, Phillips Petroleum, and Engelhard Corporation. In these positions he was responsible for day-to-day operations, process development and commercialization, plant design, and asset integrity management. Paul is the inventor or co-inventor of 16 US Patents covering processes for production of synthetic fuels, polyolefins, sulphur removal from gas streams, dimerisation, dehydrogenation, and chemical recycling. He is also the author of over 40 publications. Paul holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana, and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. |

Laura Silva Laura is an experienced licensing executive with overall responsibility for all intellectual property and legal activity for Oxford Catalysts Group. A founding member of Velocys, she led the acquisition and in-licensing of the Group’s large, pioneering patent portfolio, established multi-million dollar development projects for advancing microchannel technology, and directed Velocys’ first sale of licensed technology. In 2008, she was part of the Velocys team awarded an R&D100 award for the Velocys microchannel Fischer Tropsch Reactor. Prior to joining Velocys, Laura served as a Commercialisation Manager at Battelle’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratories, which included stewarding two platform technologies through the point of launching their commercial spin-outs as Vitex, Inc. and Velocys, Inc. Laura has a B.S. and an M.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington State University and is a registered professional engineer in the state of Washington. |
